Roseacre Primary Academy is now part of Achievement through Collaboration Multi Academy Trust.

At our most recent Ofsted inspection, in 2018, Roseacre continued to be a ‘Good Provider’. More recently, in December 2018, we achieved the Inclusion Quality Mark and were invited to become a Centre of Excellence for Inclusion. None of this could have happened without the skills, experience, competence and commitment of a very special team.  Roseacre Primary Academy is looking for a motivated and highly effective KS2 teacher to join our committed team in September 2019.

We would love to meet any prospective candidate and visits to the school are strongly encouraged, by prior arrangement. This is an essential part of the recruitment process and, as such, a number of opportunities to visit have been arranged. The available visits are:

  • Wednesday 8th & Friday 10th May at 9.00am for Celebration Assembly followed by a look-around.
  • Tuesday 7th & Thursday 9th May at 4.00pm for an after-school look-around.

Closing date for applications to be received by school is 12.00 noon on Friday 10th May 2019. Candidates are encouraged to submit their application form and letter, by email, to admin@roseacre.blackpool.sch.uk  with the word ‘APPLICATION’ in the subject line. Please ensure that you attach a ‘read receipt’ request to your email to give you peace of mind.

Shortlisting will take place on the afternoon of Monday 13th May 2019 and successful candidates will be contacted by telephone or email to arrange a lesson observation the following week. Those candidates who are taken through to the next stage will be invited to interview on Wednesday 22nd May 2019.

Achievement through Collaboration (AtC) Multi Academy Trust trustees and Roseacre Primary Academy Governing Body are committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

All applicants are subject to pre-employment checks, including satisfactory references; successful candidates will be required to undertake enhanced DBS and the Trust’s own checks. In addition, further associated checks relating to identity, qualification verification etc. will be undertaken.
