Shiplake College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative individual with a passion for teaching Media Studies from September 2025.
This is a superb opportunity for someone who has a degree in media or a closely related subject to join our dynamic and innovative school. The role would suit an enthusiastic, creative teacher committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning. Applications are welcome from both ECTs and more experienced teachers who have the ability to inspire and motivate pupils in Years 9-13 who choose to study Media Studies.
Shiplake College is an independent boarding and day school for around 540 pupils aged 11 to 18. There has been a co-educational Sixth Form since 1998 and in September 2023 girls joined in Year 7, as we look to the future as fully co-educational. Situated in 63 acres of beautiful countryside near Henley-on-Thames, we offer an outstanding education based on small class sizes, excellent facilities and dedicated teaching staff. All teaching staff are expected to contribute to the wide programme of co-curricular activities on offer.
