We would be working a split shift two weeks about rota:
Shift 1 Mornings: Shift 2 Afternoons:
6.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10.45 a.m. – 6.45 p.m.
6.00 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. Wednesday
6.00 a.m. - 1.30 p.m. Friday
During school holidays the Site Team will work between 8.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break within this time. There will also some evening and occasional weekend work where TOIL and overtime will be used for these occasions.
Annual Leave – employees can book two weeks (ten days) term time holiday with the remainder to be taken in school holidays.
All employees have access to join the West Midlands Pension Scheme.

It is an exciting time to join St Thomas Aquinas School as we became part of the Lumen Christi Catholic Multi Academy on the 1 April 2015. This links us with seven of our Catholic Primary Feeder Schools and brings real opportunities for collaborative teaching and learning.
You will be responsible for:
General maintenance of the school buildings and grounds under the direction of the Site Manager including:
• Small DIY tasks, decorating, plumbing, repairs, cleaning.
• Maintenance of the school minibuses – cleaning and regular checks
• Grounds maintenance – ensuring the grounds are well maintained and litter free.
• General janitorial duties throughout the school day to ensure all facilities are clean and safe.
• Work as a team member in setting up for regular assemblies and larger school events throughout the academic calendar.
• Assist in the opening/closing of the Site when appropriate with the rota you are on.
• You must be able to show you have practical experience to undertaken maintenance work of the Site and undertaking site projects during school holidays.
Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, general maintenance experience would be beneficial and a clean driving licence and the willingness to undertake minibus driver training (linked to the maintenance of these vehicles) would also be beneficial but not essential.
