St Thomas More RC College is looking for an experienced IT Manager to develop, manage and maintain the school wide IT systems and processes.
The IT Manager handles all aspects of the school’s IT infrastructure, services and processes. They will oversee the school’s IT support services in providing strategic management of all IT services, maintaining and monitoring performance and security matters, and to proactively lead on future design solutions regarding network and system configurations and installations.
We are looking for candidates who have a proven record of success in managing/overseeing IT services, ideally within an Education setting. The person that we are looking to attract will have both a technical and pragmatic mindset on how IT support in education works.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven skills, problem-solving ability and aspirations to undertake the management of day-to-day operations of our site, leading the school’s IT support in managing support calls, whilst delivering excellent support services, in order to ensure a robust and stable platform for the delivery of teaching and learning.
The role would suit someone who has initiative, is flexible, personable, ideally has experience in managing an IT support within a busy school environment, and has excellent communication skills.
