Are you a practical person with experience of maintaining property and equipment within a school or similar environment? Ventrus Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a Maintenance Caretaker within our Trust Premises team, based at Sampford Peverell C of E Primary School.  The school is situated near Tiverton (just off the M5).

We require an individual who is enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated, who would be keen to provide a key role in maintaining our school site to ensure a clean and safe learning environment for our pupils. The ideal candidate will have experience of DIY and maintenance; and experience and/or qualifications in anything related to carpentry, plumbing, electrical, health and safety would be highly advantageous.  A full job description is available for this post, see link.

This is a part-time, permanent position working 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.  (There is a degree of flexibility in how the hours are worked, however some jobs can only be done when children are not in school).
