South Brent Primary School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, skilled and flexible to join our dedicated and positive team. South Brent is located close to the A38 providing easy access to Plymouth and Exeter. The school is part of the Ventrus Multi Academy Trust, a wider family of Devon Schools.

Successful applicants should be able to demonstrate a patient, calm and encouraging approach whilst supporting children’s individual needs in an educational setting. Excellent communication skills, teamwork and an ability to use initiative are essential. Proven success in the support for primary age learners, NVQ3 Qualification and/or equivalent would be an advantage.
This is a part-time, permanent position working 16 hours per week (Monday – Friday), 39 weeks per year. This position will include both classroom and intervention support.
