We have an exciting key vacancy of ICT Systems & Network Manager in our inspirational and inclusive school.  The successful candidate will share the aspirational ambitions of our school and work closely with the Finance & Operations Director to provide a full range of technical support within the school.  We are a happy and thriving school committed to equality and diversity. We are looking for someone to oversee all elements of our ICT function including leading on strategy, maintaining our devices and infrastructure, cyber security, training and obtaining value for money.

Do you have in-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of:

  • Enterprise classed networks including expansion, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance?
  • Physical and virtual server environments?
  • Microsoft, Apple and Linux operating systems, including mass deployment and configuration?
  • Microsoft 365 Administration of: Entra Conditional Access Policies, Defender, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams?
  • Host and hardware based Firewall administration?
  • Administrating on-premise and cloud based School Management Systems?
  • Problem-solving skills and knowledge of limitations?
  • Organisational skills in relation to systems, users and equipment?
  • Experienced in providing 2nd/3rd line support?
  • Web filtering technologies and administration?
  • Cyber Incident Response Handling?

  • Willing and adaptable in tackling the variety of tasks arising in a school environment?
  • Able to lead a team and possess excellent interpersonal skills?
  • Self-reliance, focussed with self-motivation?
  • Accurate and methodical
  • Experienced in liaising and negotiating with 3rd parties?
  • Experienced in managing IT development projects from inception to completion?
  • Able to quickly adapt to shifts in workload priorities?
  • Able to converse at ease with parents/carers/students, members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English?
