Wanted for January 2022 or sooner if available – dedicated and enthusiastic class teachers who are passionate about children’s learning and promoting equality for all.

We are looking to appoint the following exceptional teachers to join our team:

  • KS1/2 Teachers
  • Early Years Practitioners

The posts will be class-based where the basis of learning will be either the Beaufort Upper School Curriculum or the Early Years curriculum.  Applications from both mainstream and special school colleagues are welcomed.

Beaufort caters for 86 children aged 2 – 11 years who have severe learning difficulties and a range of other needs, including complex medical and ASC.  Our last Ofsted (December 2016 – outstanding) noted that pupils’ attitudes to learning and to each other are outstanding.

These are exciting times for Beaufort School, as we continue to build on our positive links, through co-location with Colebourne Primary and federation with Langley School.  Our pupil numbers have also increased and we continue to work with the Local Authority to help meet the needs of pupils within Birmingham with cognition and learning difficulties.

If you would like the opportunity to join us on our exciting journey, then this post could be for you.  Further information (including job description, person specification and application form) can be found on our website: www.beaufort.bham.sch.uk.  Visits to school are warmly welcomed on the following dates:

Monday 27th September between 10:00am – 12:00pm

Wednesday 29th September between 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Thursday 30th September between 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Please contact the office on 0121 675 8500 opt 3 to book an appointment.
