William Farr is a popular, rural comprehensive school. In the 2006 OFSTED inspection the school was judged to be outstanding, and our 2009 inspection confirmed this remarkable achievement. The school gained academy status in 2011.
William Farr School is committed to the safeguarding of children, and all posts within school are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Applicants are required to reveal information concerning all convictions, including those which would otherwise be considered as ‘spent'. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced background check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
